Edoardo Tresoldi’s Studio is located in the former industrial area of Mecenate in Milan. The space occupies a former 700-square-metre production facility that has been reorganized through a renovation project aimed at redefining the interiors and adapting them to the needs of the studio’s artistic production and research activities.
The spatial layout is organized around two large open-plan areas: the first dedicated to the production and storage of artworks, and the second used for studio work, design development, and the day-to-day activities of the team. A metal mezzanine, accessed by a central staircase, introduces an additional functional level that accommodates the artist’s workspace together with a shared area for meetings and project discussion.
The project developed through an internal collaborative process involving the studio’s team, contributing to the definition of both spatial and functional solutions. The use of reclaimed materials, vintage elements, and personal objects connected to the artist’s practice establishes a layered material environment in which traces of memory coexist with contemporary interventions within a workspace designed to support different phases of the creative process.
